Our origins
In 2020, in the midst of a world in flux, Chainable was born from a shared passion for circularity. Cees van Nispen (78), Jordy van Osch (29) and Simon Rombouts (31) joined forces in a rare intergenerational collaboration — a dynamic that still fuels us today.
Driven by a let’s do it mentality, we quite literally started in a garage, where the very first circular Cero kitchens came to life. Not just dreamers, but doers, determined to shape the circular future, starting now.
Our mission
We believe circularity is one of the keys to keeping our planet liveable. That’s why we’re more than just a kitchen manufacturer, we’re a team of practivists driving real change across the chain.
As frontrunners in the circular economy, we challenge the status quo by making circularity both tangible and measurable. And since February 2025, we’re proud to be the first B Corp-certified kitchen supplier in the Netherlands.
The transition is in full swing
The circular society isn’t a distant dream, it’s already underway.
Our goal? By 2030, 100% circular kitchens will be the norm. Backed by our very own 50-hectare Chainable forest and empowered by at least 100 people from disadvantaged backgrounds who actively contribute through our model.
